ADAUGEO™ DOCUMENT ASSEMBLY APPLICATIONS FOR MICROSOFT WORD
For British Columbia clients only, we offer semi-custom document automation
packages. We use our own document assembly engine and its built-in
document coding language to code
your precedents.
The systems are priced as a package, including:
- the document assembly software which includes
the template selection engine
the data collection interface
the document coding language
developer tools for coding documents for assembly
Outlook integration interface
- consulting services to assist with you with organizing your precedents
and, if necessary, optimizing the language for document assembly
- coding your precedents
- end user training
- for medium sized and large firms, document coding training
and systems administration training
At your option, we will do the
on-going precedent maintenance (document coding) for you, and we
offer a favourable hourly rate to maintain the precedents for our
own systems. We do prefer
that medium sized and large firms opt for the in-house training.
ADAUGEO™ LITIGATION
Litigation document assembly for British Columbia. Modules
now available
- personal Injury claims - motor vehicle accidents
- personal injury claims – occupier’s liability
- insurance defence - motor vehicle accidents
- insurance defence – occupier’s liability
- general litigation
and pending:
- foreclosure (est. December 2011)
ADAUGEO™ CONVEYANCING
Residential conveyancing and mortgage software for firms
wishing to use their own precedents.
Our conveyancing software has been in existence for more than
20 years, although we have never formally marketed it.
Previously, we offered it as service only to clients already
using our macro package and other document assembly tools. Commencing
with Microsoft Word 2010 we are offering it as a separate application.
We had considered it retiring it and directing our clients to
the on-line conveyancing software packages, but have resolved
to keep it alive upon request of clients, because:
- our clients generally prefer to use their own precedents
- our users and system managers alike appreciate that the documents
assembled from our own document assembly packages are inherently
compatible with our macro package and numbering tools
- our clients require the freedom to edit the precedent text as
and when they see fit without paying a third party to tend to
that task
- the firm, not a third party, collects the per-matter system access
fee disbursed to the client. To that end, we can suggest two
options to you that will keep you in compliance with Law Society
rules
Features worthy of note here:
- All coded precedents are your own except that we provide
pre-coded precedents for the face of the statement
of adjustments (your
notes are appended at assembly time).
- We support PDF form fill for electronic
filing for
Land Title Act forms
Flow-through calculations (change the
adjustment date in one place only, and the relevant consequential
calculations happen automatically without user intervention)
- Instantaneous previews for statement
of adjustments and trust in-out (as you enter data)
Because we code your exact precedent library as a whole (rather
than let you choose from a variety of generic precedents), we
can code the undertakings
to flow through the entire system. For example,
you tell the system once (and only once) that vendor’s lawyer
is on undertaking to pay outstanding taxes. From there,
that flows through for all relevant calculations and all documents
and correspondence.
- We produce correspondence and documentation that reflects
your firm’s corporate standards as to appearance and formatting
techniques. Documents
assembled are inherently compatible with the rest of your
word environment and, importantly, your document management footer
system.
USING OUR DOCUMENT ASSEMBLY ENGINE FOR CUSTOM SYSTEMS
Firms using our litigation or conveyancing applications may also
opt to use our document assembly engine to build their own custom
practice-specific document assembly systems.
Some examples of custom systems our clients have developed using
our tools include:
- Commercial Lending
- Trademarks
- Wills and Estates
- Clause assembly applications
